‘Family Matters’ at Mookai Rosie

In recognition of our meaningful work, Mookai Rosie was invited to contribute to the SNAICC – National Voice for our Children 2024 Family Matters Report, sharing case studies of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led transformation.

The case studies provided by Mookai Rosie showcase our culturally safe wraparound services, ensuring children grow up strong in family and connected to culture and kin.

The Family Matters Annual Report examines what governments are doing to turn the tide on over-representation and the outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. It highlights Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led solutions and calls on governments to support and invest in the strengths of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to lead on child wellbeing, development and safety responses for our children.

Mookai Rosie CEO Theresa Simpson was also invited to present at the live webinar to share key insights, findings, recommendations and case studies from the Report.

Thank you to SNAICC for its ongoing commitment to the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families. Mookai Rosie is proud to contribute to this important work.
