Contractor Inductions

The new WHS General Contractor Induction for Mookai Rosie Bi-Bayan is now LIVE.

Recognising that the Mookai Rosie Bi-Bayan has a lot of information that can be valuable in ensuring that all workplaces are safe, we’ve designed a new Contractors Induction to help us inform you of critical information to help provide a safe workplace.

From 1 November 2020 the new induction is mandatory for all contractors and their employees carrying out new works.

If you are a company representative of business owner, you must direct ALL of your employees who will be undertaking work on you behalf at Mookai Rosie Bi-Bayan to register and complete their individual inductions. Work may not be carried out until the registration process has been completed and employees or sole traders will not be allowed on site without a valid induction certificate. Please note, all subcontractor and their employees engaged by a Principal Contractor are considered employees also and must undergo the same induction.

There is no cost to complete the induction and there is no limit on how many employees may  be inducted.

We recognise this is a big change and we want to work together with contractors to successfully implement the change.

To make the transition easier for everyone we are going to use a staggered approach to implementation which includes.

Step to complete the induction:

1. Company registration

A company representative must register your company. Click here to register.

Once you company is registered, you and your employees will need to register to complete your individual safety inductions.

1. Sole traders/suppliers will need to both register their company and register as an employee and complete the induction.

2. The same email address can’t be used to register a company and then used by an employee to register for induction. It must be a different email address.

2. Individual inductions

Nominated individuals will then need to HEAD HERE and upload their tickets or licenses and then complete the induction.

Induction cards will be printed periodically and your company will be notified when they can be collected from the reception at Mookai Rosie Bi-Bayan.

Once an individual has registered, they will be able to log in as required.

1. When a company or individual licenses, certificates or tickets are uploaded to the portal, please input the expiry dates and correct contact information in, as the system will automatically let you know when expiry dates are approaching. This makes it easier for you and your employees to keep everything current.
