This year Mookai Rosie Bi-Bayan marks 40 years of walking alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, children and families throughout Far North Queensland.
To celebrate this special milestone an anniversary event will be held in October, providing an opportunity to come together to celebrate a powerful legacy built on culture and care, through ground up community-led leadership.
For four decades, Mookai Rosie Bi-Bayan has provided culturally safe support grounded in connection to community, culture and family. Guided by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge and lived experience, the organisation has grown, evolved and responded to community needs while staying true to its core values.
As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to reaffirming our commitment to future generations and to continuing this important work together.
