Social and Emotional

We have a multidisciplinary model of care that incorporates wellbeing support workers, including Mental Health Social Workers.

We have developed individualised as well as group therapy programs to support our client’s wellbeing and mental health. In addition to this support our wellbeing workforce can assist people with Centrelink, Medicare, Parenting Program attendance, Identification and Housing.

Mental Health Program

Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander persons from rural and remote communities throughout the Cape, NPA and Torres Strait Island regions requiring support with their Mental Health are able to access our Mental Health Social Workers through a Mental Health Treatment Plan. Persons first need to access our Mookai Medical – Clinic for the Cape program to develop the plan and referral.
